I’m really excited to be teaching ‘Supporting Women Through Menopause with Reflexology’ post-graduate CPD course. This one-day course is a theory and practical based face-to-face training day where you will gain a greater understanding of the Menopause and how to support your clients through this significant transitional phase.

As a Reflexologist, my greatest success comes from working with intention and although any Reflexologist can give a treatment to someone struggling with menopause symptoms, the treatment can become significantly enhanced when you are able to work with intent as a result of understanding the science behind the endocrine and reproductive changes that impact the whole body during the Menopause transition.

On completion of the course, you will:

• Increase your understanding of the anatomy and physiology behind symptoms and how to apply that knowledge to create a bespoke treatment plan
• Understand the stages of Menopause along with the physical and emotional impacts of the changing hormones
• Understand the connection between stress and menopause
• Learn new techniques to add to your reflexology tool kit that will support physical and emotional elements of your client’s menopause journey
• Feel more confident in attracting new clients in need to Menopause support through reflexology

Pre-Course Reading Menopause is such a huge topic so prior to diving into more detail during the training day, there will be some pre-course reading (will take approximately an hour) to recap on the female endocrine and reproductive systems and also look at some of the most common menopause symptoms. This will allow us more time to focus on practical techniques on the training day.

Training Day Overview:
This one-day course will be a combination of theory via a PowerPoint presentation and discussion intertwined with lots of practical reflexology tuition.

• A ‘Supporting Women Through Menopause with Reflexology’ theory booklet which is full of information and includes a bonus section on the impacts of Menopause on Autism and ADHD
• A ‘Supporting Women through Menopause with Reflexology’ practical techniques booklet packed full of useful and mindful techniques and protocols to add to your reflexology tool kit.

Every woman’s menopause journey is completely unique so rather than teaching you a set routine, this course will empower you to create a bespoke treatment plan for each individual client.
